If God is Good
Then why does

Worship with warships
To prey on those who pray
For peace
Yet steal their piece
To profit by a prophet's covenant
Establish governments
Creating a paradise
With a pair-of-dice.

They tell us
Hear see & speak no evil!
Doll Monkeys demonstrate
What we are to imitate
Monkey hands cover
Ears, eyes, and mouth

We ask
Does this mean you want us
Deaf dumb & blind?

One answers dressed in his habit
Hush, “the good book” reads
I send you out as sheep
Among wolves

But are we to be
Deaf dumb & blind
Among them?

“Quiet!”
They say in tones that steal our breath
“Judge not lest yea be judged”

Judge not who is the wolf
While we are sheep?
We ask

“Silence!!
Toss not your pearls to swine”
They argue with eyes crossed

Toss not...our pearls...
to swine?
Judge not... Who is the swine?
While deaf, dumb, and blind?
We plead

“It is the way!
Hear See & speak no evil!
Judge not, Lest yea be judged”
They say.
“I send you as sheep among wolves!
Among wolves?
Among wolves?”

But why deaf dumb & blind?
We persist.

“Be Silent!
You ponder too many questions
Too many questions!
Hear See & speak no evil
Judge not, Lest yea be judged
We send you out as
Sheep among wolves
Among wolves”

But why
Deaf dumb & blind?
Why are we not to
Judge who is the wolf that preys upon us or who is the swine
we are not to give our pearls?

They shift their disposition
With smiling teeth they say
“Come into our Parish of worship.
All will be taught to you.”

We question their word "Parish"
Their Good Book reads
A people without vision
